Good value gym. Does get quite busy at times but there is an app where you can check this in advance. Offers lots of classes and showers are always hot in my experience, although perhaps could sometimes be a little bit cleaner as often find discarded bottles and things. Free parking for 2 hours is available via Eastgate Shopping Centre, which is a bonus.
The gym is very clean and spacious and has lots of different equipment. I go off peak, so I'm never waiting around to use anything. Friendly staff and gym-goers alike ☺️
Update: Gym equipment and space is great - got that right. Bathrooms cleaned more regularly lately which is nice. The lockers are small and difficult, especially if moving between work and home. Showers good. On the positive side, friendly and open environment, cost-effective, conveniently located. Added two stars as since joining the cleaning has been ramped up and bathrooms always clean.
I lost my c2c travel card at the gym and as usual the gym is very friendly and a member of staff usually finds it or if not they will positively re in force that they will try their best to find it today I asked One of the janitors the small old lady I asked if she found it and she tells me she did and she threw it away because she didn’t care she also says that I should have been more careful about my stuff because she “couldn’t care less” horrific way to talk to a client. Luckily there is a lot of good staff members here so I will still stay at the gym but this was awful
