PureGym Ipswich is located upstairs in the Buttermarket shopping centre. I used the gym on a day pass. I found the app easy to use. The gym and it's equipment seem very modern and new. The changing rooms were clean and pleasant to use. I wish the lockers used a returnable pound coin as my padlock was too thick to use which was annoying and didn't want to pay £6 to buy a new lock for a day visit.
Very busy so you have to time it right if you want to use the weights. People are friendly and the staff are great. Just be careful if leaving late at night as sometimes you get undesirables hanging around the stairs. Can be intimidating.
Has everything that you need for a good workout, it’s clean and has a good atmosphere. I do wish it had a couple more squat racks but it’s not an issue when outside of peak times
